Louisiana Family Forum Action proudly celebrates the Seventeen State Representatives and five State Senators who had a 100 percent voting record during the 2009 Louisiana Legislative Session. 

These twenty three legislators will receive the 2009 “Outstanding Family Advocate” Award from Louisiana Family Forum in recognition of their commendable pro-family voting records during the 2009 Legislative Session. The awards will be presented at the Legislative Awards Banquet on Sept. 17th in Baton Rouge at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. 

On Wednesday, September 2nd, the Louisiana Right to Life Federation and Louisiana Family Forum Action, in conjunction with numerous organizations, including Family Research Council and its President Tony Perkins, released an open letter and video requesting that Senator Landrieu answer the following question:
 

“Will you commit to the citizens of Louisiana to actively oppose any health care proposal unless it explicitly forbids the government involvement in the funding

(Baton Rouge) LFF Action has released a nonpartisan Voter Guide for the August 29th, 2009 Special Election to fill the vacant state senate seat in district 20.  Candidates Norby Chabert (D-Houma) and Brent Callais (R-Cut Off) each responded to detailed questionnaires.  The Voter Guide was developed from the candidates' answers.
