LFF Board

Jill Rigby Garner

Jill Rigby Garner of Baton Rouge serves as the Board's secretary. She is the mother of twin sons--Chad and Boyce--both of whom are graduates of LSU. Jill and her sons are active members of First Presbyterian Church. God is using Jill’s deep-South gentility (she was born in Vicksburg), her gift for creative writing, and her love of children to bless many through the outstanding manners and etiquette curriculum Jill developed entitled Manners of the Heart. Jill is a frequent speaker at women's retreats, luncheons, and club groups. With the curriculum already being used in the public schools of more than half a dozen states, we at LFF are excited to see how God is using this talented and lovely lady.

Derek and Heather Babcock

Derek and Heather Babcock serve as the Board's Vice Chairman. They live in Denham Springs, La. Married for 11 years, they have four children – Maggie, Madison, Brandon and Emily. Derek is an independent insurance agent for BlueCross/BlueShield of Louisiana. Heather is a fulltime homemaker, mother and home educator of their children. Heather is a homeschool graduate herself and is carrying on the tradition. The Babcocks bring Louisiana Family Forum a heart to restore the value of family in society. They feel that too many children are robbed of the families they deserve, because of the selfishness and corruption of our society. Derek notes, “The only way to correct this problem is to take a stand for the values that God’s given us and apply them to the systems that affect our world today.”

Clay and Sharon Clement

Clay and Sharon Clement serve as LFF's Board Chairman. Clay is a local business partner in Advanced Rehabilitation Management Associates and serves as the Regional Director of Operations for TherEX, Inc., a provider of physical rehabilitation services. Sharon was a pre-school educator for 15 years and is currently a full time homemaker. Clay and Sharon have been married 18 years and have a son – Bradley (13). They are members of Parkview Baptist Church and are active in the Children’s ministries – teaching on Sundays in the primary and youth departments. They have strong Christian values and are deeply concerned with increasing moral decay and breakdown of family values in our society. Clay’s values were inspired by his grandparents, Laura and Hazard (deceased) Guillot. Through their life experiences they have witnessed the devastating effects of these issues on children. They are passionate in the focus of LFF and are excited to participate in a cause that will steer our state and nation back to its Christian foundation.

Chad and Sharon Galicia

Chad and Sharon Galicia, married for twelve years, live in Lake Charles, Louisiana and have two children: son Bailey and daughter Alyson. They serve as LFF's Board Treasurer. Chad and Sharon attend Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles, and own forty-two rental properties and three mobile home parks. Sharon is currently working to open a State Farm Insurance agency. The Galicias’ passion for politics has led them to seek an active role as Board Members for Louisiana Family Forum. They believe that Christians should focus on prayer for leaders as well as becoming actively involved in all aspects of the political realm.
