This is a challenging season for many worldwide. As you know, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards introduced a “Stay-At-Home” order which took effect at 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 23rd. We believe the Church is entering one of its finest hours. During this time of fear, uncertainty, and panic, may we reflect the confident peace and strength that Christ calls us to.

Please join Louisiana Family Forum (LFF) as we help bring churches, pastors, leaders, and individuals together across the globe to pray for a miraculous healing of our lands from the coronavirus and spiritual awakening among the nations.

Watch and listen to LFF President Gene Mills as he explains this effort:

  • Pastors – engage your church by praying the current week’s prayer together in online weekend services. Individuals, pray the prayer daily at 7:14 each morning and night. Invite other pastors and leaders to join the movement.
  • Individuals – join the prayer movement, download the weekly prayer, and share the prayer movement with friends, loved ones, and on your social media pages.

Week Twenty-Nine: 10/04/2020 - 10/10/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

This continued for two years so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews, and Greeks.
— ACTS 19:10 (ESV)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints…
— EPHESIANS 6:10-18 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, the Apostle Paul experienced a supernatural time of fruitfulness in the city of Ephesus. With a small team, what started as a church plant of twelve transformed one of the darkest cities in the Roman world. The spiritual impact of this church was so profound that the message of the Gospel affected the whole province of Asia. In the words of Paul, “So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.” (Acts 19:20)

Father, infiltrate our cities and nations, as you did in Ephesus, through the preaching of the Gospel and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Today, we choose to be strong in You, Lord. We are thankful for Your power and strength in our lives. Help us to realize more every day that our ultimate battles are not against viruses or even our fellow humans. We are in a battle with the demonic hosts of our greatest adversary, the devil. Our foes are not mere humans. We cannot afford to contend with them as if we were in the natural realm. We must war with spiritual weaponry–the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we come before You today, not as individuals, but as a unified prayer army representing 180 nations. We ask You to expose Satan and his hosts, who are blinding billions of people in our world through lies and deception. The light of the Gospel is greater than the deepest darkness.

Lord, in an hour that Your Word designates as “the evil day,” You have given us the privilege to serve You. COVID-19 is still churning through the nations of the world. Our economies have been damaged. The seams of our nations are in danger of splitting. Societal, ethnic, and political tensions are spilling over into the streets of our cities. We take our stand on this truth: the name of Jesus is greater than the power of any virus and unrest. Jesus has the power to eradicate this disease, heal our economies, and save our world.

Lord, we come before Your throne, in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus. We ask You to eradicate COVID-19 and heal our fractured lands.

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Eight: 9/27/2020 - 10/3/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call…
— EPHESIANS 4:1-4 (ESV)

Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.” And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.”
— GENESIS 11:4-6 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, Your Scriptures make it clear that unity creates tremendous blessing and releases extraordinary power. We see Your matchless power released when even two Christians agree on anything, as seen in Matthew 18:19. Unity is an impactful multiplier of spiritual power. When Your people unite in prayer they become agents of transformation in the culture.

Lord, we thank You for creating Unite714, this worldwide coalition of unified prayer. We refuse to waste this divine opportunity. We come before You with one voice, asking You to heal our wounded lands, restore our broken economies, and pour out Your Spirit on the peoples of the world.

Lord, the enemy fears the power of divine unity and will do anything to see it shattered. He has found good soil for sowing discord, frustration, and impatience. In 2020, our enemy, the accuser of the brethren, has had the opportunity to sow seeds of division into our homes, cherished relationships, and churches. This is why the Apostle Paul’s command to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit” is even more essential in this critical hour. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the unconditional love of God we have the power to love, to forgive, and to humble ourselves–even when everything around us is shaking.

Heavenly Father, in an hour, when social tensions are on the rise, and the unity of nations around the world has been fractured through ethnic, class, and political divisions, the unity of Your church is vital. In the name of Your Son Jesus, unify the homes, relationships, and churches of Your people around the world. Give us, we pray, the strength to contend for the unity You desire.

Lord, there is great power in unity. We know the enemy is terrified by the very thought of Your people walking and praying united. It is clear from Genesis 11 that even unbelievers have incredible power when they are unified. Before You scattered the peoples of the world at the Tower of Babel, You described the awesome power of unity with these words: “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language,…and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.”  If this is true of unbelievers, it is impossible to calculate the power released when Your church comes before You—with one voice—in unified prayer.

Heavenly Father, today we come before You as part of a prayer coalition spanning the globe, made up of millions of believers around the world who are praying with one voice, through every time zone. In the name of Jesus, preserve our unity, heal our lands from the ravages of COVID-19, and freshly pour out Your Spirit on our fractured planet.

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Seven: 9/20/2020 - 9/26/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church. Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands. And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.” And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him. When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying. And when he knocked at the door of the gateway, a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer. Recognizing Peter’s voice, in her joy she did not open the gate but ran in and reported that Peter was standing at the gate. They said to her, “You are out of your mind.” But she kept insisting that it was so, and they kept saying, “It is his angel!”
— ACTS 12:5-15 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege and the power of coming before Your throne in prayer. We are also grateful for the transformative power released when even two people come before Your throne in unity and agreement. Today, we come boldly into Your presence, not as one person, or even a small group of people. We come before You representing thousands of people around the world from 179 nations. Today, with one unified voice, we ask that this prayer echo through the corridors of heaven and shake the gates of hell.

Lord, eradicate COVID-19 and heal our cities and nations from its ravages.

The early church was in a dire state. James had been brutally murdered. Peter was in a heavily guarded prison. He was hours away from death, and there was no natural hope for his deliverance. Surely the church was laden with sorrow and hopelessness. Yet, they rose up and earnestly prayed in the face of impossibility. Today, we need miraculous deliverance, too. We have been stalked by a brutal pandemic and are isolated from one another through quarantines and lockdowns. Our economies and cultures have been shaken. You are the only answer.

Today, we rise up out of hopelessness and despair, asking You, Heavenly Father, to miraculously deliver our world through a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit.

Peter’s deliverance is a testimony to Your greatness. The angel of the Lord appeared in Peter’s cell. His chains fell off. Until Peter got out of the prison and into the streets, however, he thought he was dreaming. If You can deliver Peter, You can deliver us—and those we love—from anything imprisoning them. United prayer is the key that unlocks prison doors!

Lord, free us from chains of despair, depression, and fear. Only You can set people free from their prisons of sin and death. Revive Your church, we pray and embolden us to proclaim the gospel.

Heavenly Father, even though we are praying, it is often a battle to keep believing. We are encouraged by the fact that even when Peter was standing at the door of the prayer meeting, those inside praying did not believe it was him. Today, we cry out with one voice, “Lord, we believe, help our unbelief.”  We know that even in our weakness, You are strong. In the name of Your Son, Jesus, hear our prayers.

Lord, we desperately cry out for a revival that will awaken Your church and save millions. Heal our fractured nations. As we all turn to You in repentance and faith, reconcile our divisions.

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Six: 9/13/2020 - 9/19/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything  they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
— MATTHEW 18:19-20 (ESV)

When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
— REVELATION 8:1-5 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, it is clear in Scripture that we have great power when we come before Your throne in prayer as individuals. We rejoice in this privilege. Yet, You also reveal in Scripture an incredible multiplier–the power of unified prayer. You promise if two of us agree on anything in prayer, it will be done. We are claiming this promise as we boldly come before Your throne today with millions of believers from 179 nations.

Lord, today we stand unified as part of a great praying multitude, asking You to eradicate COVID-19 and bring a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit on the earth.

You also promise when two or three of Your people meet to pray, Your presence is powerfully in their midst. Even when we are praying alone, we are not alone in our battle against COVID-19 and our cries for revival. We are spiritually connected to millions of other believers who are praying the same thing at the same time, every day. We are so grateful for the opportunity for our prayers to be amplified by the unified voices of the multitudes of Your people around the world.

Heavenly Father, as the unified prayers of millions thunder through the courts of Heaven, we are asking You to release the healing rains of Your Holy Spirit onto our broken cities and shattered nations.

Ignited by divine fire, the power of heavenly worship and earthly prayers release explosive power on the earth. This extraordinary power of prayer is not just for the end; it is for every generation. We claim that outpouring for today.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, unified in one voice, crying out: In the name of Your Son Jesus, shatter the deceptive lies of Satan, blinding the eyes of people to the reality of who You are and your plan for their lives. We pray in Jesus’ name..

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Five: 9/6/2020 - 9/12/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.
— JAMES 5:17-18 (ESV)

And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink, for there is a sound of the rushing of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Mount Carmel. And he bowed himself down on the earth and put his face between his knees. And he said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” And he went up and looked and said, “There is nothing.” And he said, “Go again,” seven times. And at the seventh time he said, “Behold, a little cloud like a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” And he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.’” And in a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.
— 1 KINGS 18:41-45 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, Your Scriptures are filled with astonishing accounts of men and women who changed their world through prayer. Elijah is among these heroes and heroines of the faith. He was human, just like us. Your Scriptures record he was greatly overwhelmed with fear and anxiety at one point in his life. Yet, even in the weakness of his humanity, You made him strong. Through Your power and his prayers, the course of history changed. Today, knowing You are the God whose strength is made perfect in our weakness, we humbly come united before Your throne, crying out in prayer.

Lord, make us strong in our weakness today. Fill us with the faith we need to patiently persist in prayer until COVID-19 is eradicated and our world is flooded with a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit.

Heavenly Father, Elijah had just experienced the greatest encounter of His life. Fire literally fell from heaven. His enemies were seemingly defeated. Yet, there was no rain, and a drought was destroying his world. Today, like Elijah, we will not just settle for great church services. Our cities and nations are being ravaged by a relentless pandemic, and the hearts of the world’s people are parched and desperate for the rains of heaven. Like Elijah, we can hear the sound of divine breakthrough. Yet, it is no time to merely settle and play. Like Elijah, it is time for us to pray.

Lord, we will not settle for great church services and simply being blessed by the manifestation of Your presence and power. No, we boldly come before You in unity, crying out: Eradicate COVID-19 and bring a fresh move of Your Spirit to the earth.

Heavenly Father, prayer is often hard work. Today, we rise out of the mire of discouragement and patiently climb the mountain of prayer. Like Elijah, who did not settle for rain clouds and winds, we too, will persevere, until the spiritual drought destroying our planet is broken by the fresh rains of heaven.

Lord, we boldly come before Your throne from 179 nations around the world. You have transformed our desperation into the discipline we need to change the course of our world through united prayer. We now cry out, saying: Heal our lands from the ravages of this pandemic, revive and unite Your church, and save millions through Your glorious Gospel. In Jesus’ name we pray.

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Four: 8/30/2020 - 9/5/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint… “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
— HABAKKUK 2:1,3 (ESV)

O Lord, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy…Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.
— HABAKKUK 3:2,17-19 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, the prophet Habakkuk foresaw an unprecedented time of destruction coming on the world he knew as well as the nation he loved. Today, we choose to emulate his response. As he chose to stand firm and wait on You in prayer and intercession, so we come boldly before Your throne today. Like Habakkuk, our eyes are also on You. You are the only One with the power to eradicate this terrible pandemic that continues to wreak havoc on our cities and nations. Lord, help us not to falter in our commitment, but to stand fast and pray in this critical hour.

Today, Lord, we unite in prayer against the pandemic ravaging our world: physically, emotionally, economically, and socially. With one voice, we cry out and say, “Lord, eradicate COVID-19 and heal our world!”

Almighty God, forgive us for complaining and doubting. No matter how long it takes to eradicate COVID-19, give us the patience we need to see it defeated. With the economies of our world reeling, and many of our nations still in the dreadful grip of this virus, we take our stand on the powerful promise of Habakkuk 2:3 “…it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” While many are drowning in the despair and hopelessness flooding our world, we choose to  wait patiently for Your deliverance. Our hope is in You.

Lord, in the midst of the storms rocking our world, please give us the faith and patience we need to stand on Your promises.

Heavenly Father, like Habakkuk, we too have heard of the miraculous ways You have intervened throughout history on behalf of Your children. The memory of these divine interventions gives us the faith we need to boldly come before Your throne today. We stand united with millions of other believers around the world. We ask You to revive Your Church and make Your glorious name known through a fresh manifestation of Your presence and power in the earth.

In the name of Jesus, we cry out with one voice. We ask You to send an outpouring of Your Spirit to freshly empower Your people and result in the conversion of millions around the world.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding us, we choose to rejoice even as we pray and wait for your intervention. Give us the strength we need to live boldly through these mountain ranges of impossibility and adversity.

Heavenly Father, we stand before You with our hands lifted in thanksgiving and praise. Thank you for the strength You have given us! We lift up our voices in unity and faith. We believe that in this critical hour, You will fill Your Church with the fresh joy and power we need to serve you.

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Three: 8/23/2020 - 8/29/2020 - Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth… PHILIPPIANS 2:9-10 (ESV)

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. JOHN 14:13-14 (ESV)

And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. — ACTS 3:16 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, the COVID-19 pandemic is still dominating the minds and hearts of people around the world. Panic and anxiety often strike at the very mention of that name. Yet, You have bestowed on Your Son, Jesus, a name that is above every name. It is in His name we come to You united as the Body of Christ. We ask You to heal our lands of COVID-19 in a way that clearly shows our broken world You have intervened on their behalf.

Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, glorify Yourself by eradicating COVID-19.

Lord Jesus, when You walked the earth, You healed every form of disease and even raised the dead. We are thankful You are still the Healer today. You have the power to heal hurting people, restore fractured cultures, and bring awakening to our lands. Thus, we come before Your throne today in the name of Jesus. We unite and pray with millions of other believers, asking You to pour out Your healing power on our broken world. Many people are battling sickness, isolation, and confusion. Countless have lost jobs and are without resources in the nations of the earth. Your intervention is their only hope.

Father, in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus, heal our world from the ravages of COVID-19.

Lord, the needs of our world are not just financial, medical, mental, and social. The most lethal killer in history is not a physical pandemic. It is the power of Sin and Death. Only You have the power to deliver us! Millions of our planet’s inhabitants are still separated from You. Your great salvation provides righteousness, peace, and joy to the broken multitudes. Lord, unite Your Church and empower us afresh to be the witnesses You have called us to be — to a dying world in desperate need of salvation!

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, unite and revive Your Church. Save millions of people through a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit!

AMEN.

Week Twenty-Two: 8/16/2020 - 8/22/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

“…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 (ESV)

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. JAMES 5:16-17 (ESV)

…the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus… — ROMANS 3:22-24 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, today we humbly come before You, asking You to examine our hearts. To simply humble ourselves and pray is not enough. In this critical hour of human history, please reveal and expose any sin in our lives that is grieving Your heart and hindering our ability to cooperate with You. Help us to rise with fresh consecration in this critical hour.

Lord, freshly cleanse Your church around the world so we, as Your people, can fully represent You to our nations and respond to You in prayer.

With repentant hearts, our trust is in the gift of righteousness we have received by faith in Your redemptive work. We have been justified by faith. Through Your work on the cross, we have access to Your presence. Therefore, we are crying out with confidence, knowing the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective.

Heavenly Father, through the redemptive work of Your Son, we confidently approach Your throne with this prayer: Revive Your church and save millions of precious people through a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.

Even the great characters in Scripture—like the prophet Elijah—were simply human. They also struggled with unbelief, fear, discouragement, anger, and despair. Yet, in the midst of their own crises, they found supernatural strength in You. Today, we freshly choose the way of faith. We rise up in the strength of Your might, committed to praying until we have seen victory over COVID-19 and the havoc it has wreaked on our cities and nations.

Heavenly Father, You promise to strengthen Your people. Therefore, we are crying out to You for supernatural strength, that through faith and patience, we might fully possess everything You have promised us.

Israel was stricken by a crippling drought, then delivered from the very same drought 3-1/2 years later through the prayers of Elijah. We know Your rule is not limited to the weather. You are sovereign over everything.

Therefore, we are asking You to heal our lands from COVID-19 and drive this disease from the nations of the earth.

AMEN.

Week Twenty-One: 8/9/2020 - 8/15/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

…The Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no one to intercede; then his own arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness upheld him.
ISAIAH 59:15b-16 (ESV)

And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.
— EZEKIEL 22:30 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I come before You today, praying in agreement with millions of believers representing tribes, tongues, and nations from around the world. We are standing as one—before Your throne—to intervene with You. Our cities and nations have been terribly broken and breached by COVID-19 and the ravages it has wrought. Only You can heal our lands.

Lord, we humble ourselves before You today, asking with one voice: please heal our lands and grant us a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.

Lord, the supply chains in many lands are broken. Untold millions have lost their livelihoods and cannot afford the basic necessities of life. Quarantined, starving, and hopeless, they are in desperate need of Your touch. They are bombarded daily by a never-ending stream of grim news. Their prospects are stark. Fear is their constant companion. God, today we intervene with You through prayer.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, give the leaders of our world the wisdom they need to repair their nations’ economies. We also ask for Your divine provision and aid for those who are hungry, unemployed, and hopeless.

Almighty Lord, the social fabric in many of our world’s cities and nations has been freshly torn by centuries-old divisions. These gaping breaches are ethnic, religious, demographic, and national. We stand before Your throne today, asking You to heal these breaches by Your presence and power. Begin with our own hearts. Deliver us from the insidious tentacles of blinding prejudice and crippling bias. We know that what is impossible in society is possible through Your church because only You have the power to transform the human heart.

In the name above all names, the name of Jesus, we speak to the divisions fracturing our world—BE HEALED!!!!

Lord, we are grateful for Your mitigation of COVID-19 in many nations and cities around the world. Whether it is through Your direct intervention or the wisdom You have given to scientists and medical professionals, the effects of this pandemic would have been far worse without Your help. Yet many cities and nations are still writhing in its clutches. In these places, cases are spiking, and uncertainty and insecurity are stalking the souls of people around the world. We thank You that the name of Your Son, Jesus, is the name that is above every other name and designation on our planet.

In the name of Jesus, we speak to COVID-19—BE MITIGATED AND ERADICATED!

AMEN.

Week Twenty: 8/2/2020 - 8/8/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
MATTHEW 18:19 (ESV)

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
JOHN 17:20-21 (ESV)

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.
— PSALM 133:1-3 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, today we are praying in agreement with millions of believers from 179 nations. With one voice, we are asking You to eradicate COVID-19 and heal our lands from its ravages. Millions and millions of people around our world have lost jobs, educational opportunities, and the basic human interactions and relationships that help us connect with one another. Many people are struggling to simply obtain food in order to survive, while others are mourning the loss of loved ones. In a world permeated with hopelessness, You are the only answer.

Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, eradicate COVID-19 and heal the peoples of our world from its devastating effects.

We also ask You to continue the work of making us one. As our world is becoming increasingly fractured by social, generational, ethnic, and religious tensions, the unity of Your Church is even more essential. Purge our hearts from every form of bias and prejudice, so we can serve as ambassadors of reconciliation to our broken world.

Lord Jesus, make us one, even as You and Your Father are one.

Scripture promises a fresh release of the Holy Spirit’s anointing into the lives of Your people when they learn to live as one. We pray for local churches around the world to be freshly unified. Let them be filled with the presence and power of Your Holy Spirit to boldly proclaim your message of salvation.

Heavenly Father, in the power of the Holy Spirit, revive Your Church and save millions of people around the world.

Psalm 133 likens the unity of Your people to the dew of Mount Hermon. Even as the dew from this mountain enriches the climate of Israel, may Your people enrich the spiritual, social, and relational climate of their cities and nations. As we choose to pray, serve, love, and proclaim Your Word, make us the answer for a world permeated by fear, despair, and anger.

Father, in the name of Jesus, transform our neighborhoods, cities, and nations – spiritually, socially, relationally, and morally.

AMEN.

Week Nineteen: 7/26/2020 - 8/01/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM.

And He said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’? I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs. And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent;  or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
— LUKE 11:5-13 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, as Your people, we have come to the “midnight hour.” It is an hour when a new day of Your presence and power is dawning. Yet, it is still too dark to be seen. We come before You, both as Your beloved people and Your persistent people. We know You will rise up and give us fresh bread for our hungering world. Although You refer to healing as “the children’s bread,” we ask today for Your healing today.

We boldly ask You to eradicate COVID-19 and heal the people battling this disease.

Jesus, You said, “Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened…” Today, we go beyond merely asking. We also seek for the wisdom we need to serve as ambassadors of healing and reconciliation to a world broken by division and pain.

Use us to bring reconciliation and healing to our fractured cities and nations through the message of the Gospel and the power of Your Holy Spirit.

As our loving Heavenly Father, You promise to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask You. Today, we ask for those who do not know how to ask. In fact, we are knocking—even pounding—on the gates of Heaven for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit in the earth. We will not quit knocking. We will not quit until we hear from Heaven and You respond to our cry. The stark needs of our shattered nations drive us to You in desperation. You alone are the Answer.

Lord, we—and the peoples of our world—are in dire need. Please hear our desperate cry and send a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to us. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

AMEN.

Week Eighteen: 7/19/2020 - 7/25/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
— ISAIAH 9:6 (ESV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
— PHILIPPIANS 4:6-9 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, we live in a world shaken by continuous waves of crisis—medical, economic, and social. These waves of crisis have spawned another calamity. A mental health crisis is wreaking havoc in the lives of countless millions. With depression and anxiety running rampant, we thank You, Lord Jesus, that You are the Prince of Peace.

Millions of hurting people around the world now turn to You in repentance and faith. Help them find the peace only You give.

Today, Your people choose to worship instead of worry. We know You are the answer to every anxiety in our souls. Meet our needs with Your provision. Banish our fears in Your presence. Guard our hearts from the harmful effects of stress as we lift our hands in prayer and praise.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in prayer and praise. Protect our hearts from stress and fill us with peace beyond our understanding.

Lord, the governments of our nations are searching for solutions amidst this crippling pandemic. Strengthen and protect the government officials, scientists, medical professionals, and first responders battling COVID-19. May they turn to You for the wisdom and strength only You provide.

Ultimately, our hope is in You. The true government of the world is on Your shoulders. Even as You have mitigated the effects of COVID-19 in many nations around the world, You also have the power to eradicate it completely.

Heavenly Father, we boldly come before Your throne, asking You to eradicate COVID-19 and pour Your Spirit on the peoples of the world. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

AMEN.

Week Seventeen: 7/12/2020 - 7/18/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to His elect, who cry to Him day and night? Will He delay long over them? I tell you, He will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”
— LUKE 18:1-8 (ESV)

…so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
— HEBREWS 6:12 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, for the last few months, we have been coming to You, with one voice, from 179 nations around the world. We thank You for Your mitigation of COVID-19. Without Your divine aid, things could have been far worse. Yet, many of us find ourselves in nations still in the clutches of this pandemic. Our economies have not recovered. Our lands are in deep need of spiritual and social healing. Despite these realities, we refuse to lose heart. You promise to give justice to Your people as we cry out to you day and night.

Lord, with one voice, we ask You to eradicate COVID-19 and bring healing to our nations.

Heavenly Father, You are not an unjust Judge. Even when the answers to our prayers are seemingly delayed, there is a higher purpose at work. As we continue to cry out before Your throne, fill us with fresh power, hope, and love. May we have the faith to fully cooperate with You when Your Spirit is freshly poured out on the earth.

Heavenly Father, send a fresh move of Your Spirit that will lead to the salvation of millions of people around the world.

Lord, there are times when faith alone does not help us to see our prayers answered. It takes faith and patience to receive Your promised breakthrough. Therefore, we refuse to quit. Continue to build in us a faith that does not wither in the heat of crisis or break under the weight of impossibility.

Lord, we pray You would find faith in our hearts as You awaken Your church and save the lost through a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit.

AMEN.

Week Sixteen: 7/5/2020 - 7/11/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

His voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heaven.” This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what is shaken, as of what has been made, in order that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe…
— HEBREWS 12:26-28 (ESV)

“And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.”
— EZEKIEL 22:30 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, our world has been shaken by multiple crises. We are suffering in many ways: physically, mentally, economically, medically, and socially. Ancient wounds and divisions between nations, generations, peoples, and tribes have been freshly revealed amidst these challenges. With everything in turmoil around us, we stand and worship You. We are grateful that even when we are being shaken, You have placed us into an unshakeable Kingdom.

Lord, we thank You for placing us in Your unshakable Kingdom. Fill us with peace, faith, hope, and joy as we worship You. Heal the deep divisions fracturing our world.

Today we stand in the gap for the cities, nations, and peoples of our world. Raw pain and hopelessness lie underneath the divisions fracturing us. Make us ambassadors of reconciliation and beacons of hope as we walk in Your love and proclaim Your Word. We believe for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit. Revive Your Church and bring salvation to millions.

Lord, empower us to both live and proclaim Your Word. We come before Your throne with one voice, boldly asking for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit. Lord, please bring REVIVAL to our cities and lands.

Lord, we pray against the pandemic that has been ravaging us for months. With no vaccine, we are reduced to lockdowns, quarantines, masks, and social distancing. As one Church, we lift up the scientists, doctors, nurses, and other first responders battling this virus. We also pray for the “essential workers” risking their own health to protect, serve, and feed us. We are thankful for the cities and nations where COVID-19 is mitigated. Yet, we continue to cry out before Your throne until this pandemic has been completely eradicated.

Heavenly Father, we are in awe of You. We come before Your throne in reverent fear. We ask You to eradicate COVID-19. Heal our cities and nations from its ravages.

AMEN.

Week Fifteen: 6/28/2020 - 7/4/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
— GALATIANS 6:7-10 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, we have been walking through a time of unprecedented worldwide pressure and pain. We are so grateful that in many nations around the world, COVID-19 has been mitigated. Other precious cities and nations, however, are still being battered by this pandemic. Furthermore, the world’s economies are reeling, social unrest is erupting, and the historic tensions between nations are beginning to simmer and boil afresh. Even in the midst of this pressure and pain, we continue to stand in faith. Our choices—to believe, to pray, to love, to give, and to read your Word—make a difference. Even when our circumstances don’t seem to be changing as fast as we would like, we ourselves change when we choose to obey You. We rest in the fact that even when everything seems out of control, You are still in control.

Heavenly Father, as we draw close to you and to one another, fill us every day with fresh faith, love, hope, and joy.

Lord, we have fought to not grow weary in well-doing. Give us the strength not to quit. Every time we see a victory, we are confronted by another complex challenge. You are a God who heals. So, we continue to cry out to You for the eradication of COVID-19 and an outpouring of Your Spirit.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, eradicate COVID-19, restore our nations, and bring healing to all the people in our world.

Lord, You say that if we do not become weary in well-doing, we will reap a harvest at the proper time, if we don’t quit. Around the world, Christians from every tribe, tongue, and nation unite in the belief that a fresh move of Your Holy Spirit is imminent.

Heavenly Father, we boldly come before Your throne, united in one voice, asking You to give us the greatest evangelistic harvest in human history.

Lord, the multiple crises shaking our world have opened countless doors for us to love and care for others in Your name. Let us continue to give, to love, to serve, and to minister to the people around us. Your Gospel is the answer to the deepest needs of our world.

Heavenly Father, empower us to both live and proclaim the Gospel.

AMEN.

Week Fourteen: 6/21/2020 - 6/27/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

“Give ear, and hear my voice; give attention, and hear my speech. Does he who plows for sowing plow continually? Does he continually open and harrow his ground? When he has leveled its surface, does he not scatter dill, sow cumin, and put in wheat in rows and barley in its proper place, and emmer as the border? For he is rightly instructed; his God teaches him.”
— ISAIAH 28:23-26 (ESV)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
— ACTS 1:8 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, we praise You today knowing the Holy Spirit is at work through the pain and loss of COVID-19. This terrible pandemic is breaking the hardened “spiritual crust” of our world and is preparing it like a great plow for harvest.

Only You, Heavenly Father, can bring redemption out of destruction. In the name of Your Son Jesus, we ask that the hearts of men, women, and children around the world be freshly opened to the message of the Gospel.

Lord, we are thankful that the seasons of plowing and harrowing do not last forever. In an hour when many of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones have become more receptive to the Gospel, it is time for us to GO and to SOW. We ask You now to fill us afresh with the Holy Spirit’s power, so we can boldly proclaim Your Word. Give us the love and wisdom we need to effectively sow the seeds of the Gospel into the broken lives of those around us.

As Your Spirit is freshly poured out on our world, we ask You to continue to mitigate COVID-19. We pray for Your protection over doctors, nurses, first responders, and all those who serve the public day after day. We also ask You to grant supernatural wisdom to those working to develop a vaccine. However, as much as we are grateful for the health care professionals You have given us, our hope is ultimately in You.

THEREFORE, WE RISE UP, UNITED IN PRAYER, WITH ONE VOICE, SAYING:  HEAVENLY FATHER, IN THE NAME OF YOUR SON JESUS, PLEASE ERADICATE COVID-19 FROM THE EARTH AND HEAL OUR LANDS.

AMEN.

Week Thirteen: 6/14/2020 - 6/20/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions…”
— JOEL 2:28-29 (ESV)

But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy…’”
— ACTS 2:16-18 (ESV)

“But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.”
— MALACHI 4:2 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace today, and we are mindful of Your ancient promise to “…pour out Your Spirit on all flesh.” Although this promise was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost in the Book of Acts, history bears witness to the fact that countless times, through fresh outpourings of Your Spirit, You have revived Your Church and saved the lost.

Our economies have been impacted by this pandemic, and our nations have been shaken. Yet there is great promise hidden in this pain because the nations of the world have been ripened for harvest. Like we see in the book of Joel, we ask for revival and harvest to come through a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Lord Jesus, we cry out for Your Church to be revived and for millions to be saved.

Today, we stand in awe of Your care for the peoples of the world, for it is an all-encompassing, loving care that extends to the spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, and material needs of every human on our planet.

Knowing that Your omniscient eye misses nothing, we ask You to heal those who have been afflicted with COVID-19 and comfort the hearts of those who have suffered loss.

LORD, WE BOLDLY COME BEFORE YOUR THRONE TODAY, ASKING YOU TO ERADICATE COVID-19 FROM THE EARTH AND TO HEAL OUR NATIONS FROM THE RAVAGES OF THIS PANDEMIC. WE ASK FOR A SPIRITUAL AWAKENING IN THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH.

AMEN.

Week Twelve: 6/7/2020 - 6/13/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

“O Lord, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known…”
HABAKKUK 3:2A (ESV)

Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
HEBREWS 13:3 (ESV)

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
— 1 CORINTHIANS 12:13 (ESV)

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
— 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We are united in prayer, and we are in awe of the ways You have been faithful to your people over the centuries. Time and time again, You have revived Your Church and poured out Your Spirit on the peoples of our world.

We are not satisfied by hearing of past glory and magnificent moments. We believe we have come to our own historic hour. Our world is desperate for a touch from heaven! With millions still in the grip of COVID-19, supply chains ruptured, and world economies broken, we humbly cry out to You, Father, for a fresh move of Your Holy Spirit. Repeat in our day what You have done throughout history.

As Your Church proclaims the Gospel, we ask You to revive us. We pray and ask You to redeem millions from every tribe, tongue, and nation.

We are thankful for the way You are mitigating COVID-19 in many cities and nations around the world. We will not forget Your mercies to us! Yet, we also will not forget all the nations and peoples around the world who are still quarantined in their homes. With food in short supply, no clear end in sight, and, in some places, increasing violence, many people feel imprisoned with no way of escape. We ask You today to meet them with Your provision, power, and peace. Heavenly Father, only You have the ability to halt the invading fear and pain fracturing our world.

Lord, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to eradicate COVID-19 and heal the hurting peoples of the world.

Lord, in an hour where many places in the world are being shaken by political, religious, and ethnic tensions, we thank You for empowering Your Church by the Holy Spirit to walk in love and unity. Deeply examine our hearts, so we can repent of every form of bias and prejudice toward other humans, based on their political affiliations, ethnicity, nationality, or religion. Fill us afresh with empathy, love, understanding, and forgiveness, as the world around us erupts in tension and pain.

LORD, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, WE HUMBLY ASK YOU TO HEAL OUR LANDS FROM POLITICAL, ETHNIC, AND RELIGIOUS, HATRED AND THE DIVISION IT FUELS.

AMEN.

Week Eleven: 05/31/2020 - 6/6/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!
—PSALMS 133:1-2 (ESV)

All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers. When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
– ACTS 1:14; 2:1-3 (ESV)

I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as You loved me.
– JOHN 17:23 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, the Day of Pentecost is being celebrated around the world. We are thankful for everything You have done so far, and today we are asking You for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit that will sweep over the entire world. We stand united with millions of Christians from every nation, representing every part of Your Church. We cry out with one voice:

In the name of Your Son, Jesus, revive Your Church, heal our land, and empower Your Church to boldly proclaim the Gospel.

Heavenly Father, Your Word says that when Your Church becomes one, the world will know You sent Your Son. As a living mosaic of the world’s tribes, tongues, and nations, we unite today around this simple request:

In the name of Jesus, unite Your Church so the world will know You sent Your Son.

TODAY, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, WE ASK YOU TO FULLY ERADICATE COVID-19 FROM THE EARTH AND RESTORE ALL THAT’S BEEN DEVASTATED BY THIS PANDEMIC.

WE THANK YOU, GOD, FOR AN OUTPOURING OF YOUR SPIRIT IN THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD.

WE PRAY AND BELIEVE IN THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME, THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

AMEN.

Week Ten: 05/24/2020 - 5/30/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
ROMANS 14:17 (ESV)

…And provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
ISAIAH 61:3-4 (NIV)

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
ISAIAH 52:7 (ESV)

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
— ACTS 4:31 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord Jesus, thank You for planting us in Your Father’s Kingdom. Through Your great salvation, we have received the righteousness, peace, and joy we need to thrive in the midst of the trial and tumult currently shaking our world. We ask that Your divine peace will settle over our broken world and supernatural grace will sustain those who have suffered great loss during this pandemic.

Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, we ask You to release Your peace into our world to replace the panic. Release Your comfort to alleviate the grief and sorrow in the hurting hearts of mankind.

Heavenly Father, we are also thankful for Your promise to rebuild, repair, and raise up broken and ruined places. You are filled with compassion for the struggle of humanity. We are confident Your heart has been moved by the devastation wrought by COVID-19.

Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, we ask You to eradicate this virus, provide supernaturally for the many affected, and heal shattered hearts worldwide.

Lord, wherever Your Kingdom is proclaimed and established, there is healing. As we approach Pentecost Sunday, we ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Your Church and the world we have been called to reach. Grant us the boldness we need to clearly proclaim Your Word with power and confidence.

LORD, SEND A FRESH OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO EMBOLDEN US TO POWERFULLY PROCLAIM THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL. WE PRAY THIS IN THE NAME OF YOUR DEAR SON, JESUS CHRIST.

AMEN.

Week Nine: 05/17/2020 - 5/23/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
— ISAIAH 61:1-4 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord Jesus, You are the Anointed One. We are thankful our Heavenly Father has given us the Holy Spirit. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, enable us to boldly proclaim the Good News to a world ravaged by anxiety, fear, panic, and loss. We ask You to pour out Your Holy Spirit on our broken world so that 2020 will become “the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Oh God, we ask You to heal our broken world.

Only You can replace panic with peace, fear with faith, and grief with grace. Lord, for many of our world’s most vulnerable people groups, this worldwide quarantine has been a time of darkness, fear, and anger. Many are struggling mentally, emotionally, and financially. Lord, lift them out of despair. Deliver them by Your great salvation. May they truly discover the eternal freedom only found in You.

We thank You for mitigating the effects of COVID-19 and expanding Your footprint in the nations of the world. Millions of people are asking You for refuge and protection. We know You hear them and are freshly touching our world.

With one voice, we boldly come before Your throne of grace in prayer:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, eradicate COVID-19 and pour out Your Spirit on the earth.

AMEN.

Week Eight: 05/10/2020 - 5/16/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
— 1 PETER 2:5 (ESV)

Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.
— HEBREWS 12:12-13 (ESV)

THE PRAISE

Living God, we humbly come before You in confidence, knowing You are a merciful and loving Father who hears our prayers from Heaven. We unite before You as the Church, a spiritual house of “living stones,” a “holy priesthood.”

In the midst of this pandemic, we bring You our sacrifice of praise. We thank You for mitigating the effects of COVID-19. We realize that without Your divine intervention and protection, the devastation wrought by this disease would be far greater. We are thankful today that what is impossible with man is possible with You.

Lord, today, we choose to praise You!

In the face of pressure, panic, and pain, we choose to look beyond our circumstances and lift our hands to You. Comfort us in our weakness. Lift us up into Your presence as we worship Your Holy Name.

Lord, today, we choose to praise You!

Your Church unites to lift up sacrifices of praise. We are confident our world will experience a fresh outpouring of Your divine presence and love. This will result in the conversion of untold millions. You, and You alone, are worthy of our honor and worship.

Lord, today, we choose to praise You!

THIS WE PRAY AND COMMIT IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. AMEN.

Week Seven: 05/03/2020 - 5/09/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand…
EPHESIANS 6:13-14A (ESV)

And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen…”
MATTHEW 21:21 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, for many weeks we have been living under the constant threat of COVID-19. Bombarded by bad news and sequestered in our homes, we have faced deep concerns and even the imminent possibility of sickness and financial hardship. There have been days we have struggled to stand in faith. Still, by Your power and grace, we rise up.

We put on our spiritual armor today through faith in Jesus Christ. We pray against COVID-19 by the Word of God and through the strength of the Holy Spirit. We resist all the effects of COVID-19 on us, our families, churches, cities, and nations.

This virus has loomed over the nations of the world and has reached every aspect of society. Despite these challenges, we stand before COVID-19 and declare, “Our God is able to deliver us!”

We ask, oh God, that by Your great mercy, COVID-19 will be eradicated—that we will soon see it gone and reduced to nothing.

Heavenly Father, increase our faith. Work in our hearts. Produce in us, Oh God, Your character. You have shown us Your mercy and grace countless times. We are thankful and humbly ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the peoples of the world. May countless millions be saved and discipled as your church boldly proclaims the Gospel in this critical hour.

THIS IS OUR PRAYER AND CONFIDENCE THROUGH THE MIGHTY POWER OF JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD. AMEN.

Week Six: 04/26/2020 - 5/02/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. –PHILIPPIANS 2:9-10 (ESV)

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. – JOHN 14:13-14 (ESV)

And his name-by faith in his name-has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. – ACTS 3:16 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Our Lord and our God, look in Your mercy upon the suffering that covers the earth. A force called COVID-19 is dominating governments, derailing economies, and destroying peace. It is an ever-present challenge, bringing pain and devastation upon Your Creation. Yet we declare-the name of JESUS is above all names, in heaven and on earth. We believe, as Your Holy Scriptures have taught us, every person, problem, pestilence, and power must bow before the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask that COVID-19 be halted and eradicated.

Lord Jesus, You created the world and everything in it. You healed the sick, walked on water, fed thousands, and raised the dead. You rule and reign. You said, “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

In the name of Jesus, we boldly ask for our families, churches, cities, and nations to be protected from the effects of COVID-19.

We know the name of Jesus has great power when we speak it, for You are our Savior and our Lord. We know that even now, You are at the right hand of our Father, interceding for people as they battle COVID-19.

Lord Jesus, we are confident in the power of Your name, so we ask You to give scientists, researchers, and medical personnel the supernatural strength and wisdom needed in their battle against COVID-19. We ask for healing and restoration in the lives of all those affected by this disease.

WE ASK ALL THESE THINGS IN THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY NAME, THE POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

Week Five: 4/19/29 - 4/25/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you … no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed …  ISAIAH 54:14,17A (ESV)

… Under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.  PSALM 91:4-6 (ESV)

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2 CHRONICLES 7:14 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we humbly come before You and ask You to sustain us by Your mercy, Your grace, and Your power. We continue to trust in Your gracious promise that “no weapon that is fashioned against” us, our families, or our churches “shall succeed.”

We take refuge under Your protective wings. Your faithfulness is our shield. By Your great strength, protect our hearts and minds from the grip of terror. Empower us, oh God, so that fear will not paralyze us or define our lives.

Great multitudes are affected by this appalling pandemic, and so we lift them up before You in prayer. Heal those battling this disease and comfort those who have lost loved ones. We know You alone are our Healer.

As 2 Chronicles 7:14 urges us, we identify with the sins of our nation and ask for Your forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Spare us from this “pestilence.” Cleanse us from our sins. Heal our lands.

With one heart and one voice, we stand together in unity, asking You, Almighty God, to protect our cities, our nations, and the world from COVID-19.

WE PRAY THIS IN THE POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.  AMEN.

Week Four: 4/12/29 - 4/18/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel. EPHESIANS 6:18-19 (ESV)

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. – PSALM 18:2 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, we humbly call upon Your name, asking You for supernatural peace and strength. In Ephesians 6, the Apostle Paul speaks of the spiritual power of prayer. As we pray today, we’re fully engaged and armed for battle against COVID-19.

Your Word says that when we pray according to Your will, our prayers are mighty and powerful. You are our Rock, Shield, and Fortress. Lord, protect our families, churches, cities, and nations from the effects of COVID-19.

We ask You to put fresh words of faith, comfort, healing, and salvation in the mouths of Your people around the world. Give pastors and their congregations the words they need to “fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.” We pray that through this prayer of faith today, fear and worry will lose its grip over our world.

WE DECLARE: Lord, we ask You to shield us, our families, our churches, our cities, and the nations of the world from the ravages of COVID-19. Lord, we ask You to shield all doctors, nurses, first responders, and vulnerable people from contracting COVID-19.

Lord, we ask You to shield the world from panic and despair as Your Church boldly proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ. In this uncertain time, may people find true comfort and peace in their souls as they call upon Your Name.

WE HUMBLY ASK ALL THESE THINGS IN THE POWERFUL NAME OF OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST. AMEN!

Week Three: 4/5/29 - 4/11/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. – 2 CORINTHIANS 10:4 (ESV)

– EPHESIANS 6:10-13 (ESV)SV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, we come to you in prayer today, believing the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: that if we humble ourselves, pray, and turn from our wicked ways, You will hear our prayer and heal our lands. Our community, nation, and world are in desperate need of Your help, comfort, and healing power. Lord, we ask You to forgive us for turning our hearts away from You. Hear our cry today as we join with the Body of Christ around the world to stand together against the COVID-19 crisis.

Lord, strengthen our minds and emotions with the truth that You are greater than COVID-19. Your righteousness protects our hearts from despair. Your Word enables us to walk through this crisis in peace.

Although this is a physical disease, as believers, we know the enemy wants to take advantage of this moment. Together, we stand in faith against the powers of darkness in this “evil day.” We put on the “whole armor of God” and stand firm on the promises of Your Word!

With Your armor, we stand protected from the fiery darts of panic and fear. We take up the shield of faith on behalf of our families, our churches, our cities, our nation, and the nations of the world. The hope of salvation is our battle helmet.

We declare the promise in Your Word, that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Therefore, we pray in faith that COVID-19 will be eradicated, panic will stop, and God’s power will fill the earth.

WE HUMBLY ASK ALL THESE THINGS IN THE POWERFUL NAME OF OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST. AMEN!

Week Two: 3/29 - 4/4/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you rnay proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. – 1 PETER 2:9 (ESV)

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – HEBREWS 4:16 (ESV)

THE PRAYER

Lord, we humble ourselves before You today in prayer. Our hearts are saddened by the reports coming from our own nation and around the world of the continued spread and devastation of COVID-19. Today, we draw near to Your “throne of grace” in confidence and faith knowing You will hear our prayer. Your Word says that though we were a people who once were in “darkness” without You, You were merciful to us and called us out of darkness and into Your “marvelous light.”

You made us “a royal priesthood, a holy nation.” You are a God who is full of mercy, compassion, and grace. You said we can “receive mercy” in our “time of need.” We need Your help. We cry out to You, because our world is in a desperate place. COVID-19 has created a dire time of need, but we are standing in faith on the promises of Your Word.

Today, we are believing that as you appointed the Old Testament priests to stand in the gap as intercessors to see plagues and disease eradicated, so You will use the Church to intercede and see COVID-19 eradicated from the earth.

Therefore, we stand together as Your royal priesthood, and take authority over the COVID-19 virus. We pray COVID-19 will BE ERADICATED; the victims will BE HEALED; the doctors, nurses, scientists, first responders, and the vulnerable will BE PROTECTED.

WE ASK ALL THESE THINGS IN YOUR NAME, JESUS. AMEN!

Week One: 3/21-27/2020 — Pray at 7:14 AM and 7:14 PM in your timezone.

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

Matthew 6:9-13 (ESV)

Lord, You are our Heavenly Father. You rule and reign over the whole earth. Nothing takes You by surprise. Despite the overwhelming implications of COVID-19, You promise all things work together for our good. Today, our hope is not in the governments of the world. Our hope is in You.

Lord, thank You for the power of Your name.

Heavenly Father, we are asking for Your glorious kingdom to come into our broken world. As COVID-19 produces uncertainty around the globe, may millions of people in every nation find healing, safety, security, and salvation as they turn to You in repentance and faith.

Lord, thank You for Your salvation.

Lord, in an hour when resources are scarce, we thank You for giving us our daily bread. We cry out to You: Provide for our friends, neighbors, and all those hurting in the world. Give supernatural strength, protection, and wisdom to the doctors, nurses, caregivers, scientists, government officials, and spiritual leaders battling this crisis.

Lord, thank You for Your provision.

Lord, I ask for Your forgiveness for sins hindering my relationship with You. Cleanse me of my unbelief, selfishness, and unrighteous anger. I forgive those who have offended me. We cry out for our world to turn to You in repentance.

Lord, thank You for Your forgiveness.

Lord, do not let us be tempted to live in fear, panic, and cynicism. Deliver us from the effects of COVID-19. We unite in faith with millions of other Christians around the world. We ask You to eradicate COVID-19 from our planet and bring revival and awakening to the nations of our world.

Lord, thank You for delivering us from evil.
